Hi, I'm Bronwyn. I started Miss Money Box in 2016 when I was struggling to find relatable financial content online.

I live in Melbourne with my partner and my dog where I’m currently undertaking my PhD at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

Thanks to my entrepreneurial dad, money has always been a big part of my life. I was running a successful cottage industry by the time I was 12 and quoting daily buy and sell movements on the stock exchange in my early teens.

I’m not a financial advisor, but rather a financial advocate. I have had a varied professional career, with roles in education, journalism, research and marketing. Miss Money Box is all about empowering women to take control of their financial futures. I hope you'll join me.

The content on this site is by no means me providing any financial advice - it's more my take on some things in the finance world I have come across and want to talk about. I'm not making any recommendations on financial planning or financial products. These views do not in any way represent nor should they be associated with my employers. You should always speak to a professional when it comes to advice on your personal financial situation.

I acknowledge that I live and work on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I pay respect to elders past, present and emerging.
